On this day Mother Lakshmi emerged from the ocean of milk called the Ksheer Sagar. She brought with Her wealth and prosperity for mankind.

On that day, Lakshmi Pooja was performed to honour Her and as such, every year on Diwali day, Hindus perform Her prayer and worship.

Our Priest Pundit Sharma Samavedula will perform the Pooja. This is a great opportunity for you and your family, especially kids, to perform and participate in the Pooja.

If you would like to sponsor the Pooja or volunteer for making Prasadam, please register with one of the volunteers below as soon as possible (preferably by October 20, 2003). Early registration will help AHTCC to organize the Pooja successfully.

Pooja Sponsorship:
* Level 1 Sponsorship: $31 per family.  AHTCC provides Pooja Items.
* Level 2 Sponsorship: $51 per family.  AHTCC provides Pooja Items, & a silver coin of Goddess Lakshmi
* Business Sponsorship: $101 and above per family/business. AHT announces the Business name twice during the Pooja and provides a link on AHTCC's web site.
