Spectacular Kuchipudi Dance Drama on Ramayan
by Padmabhushans Raja and Radha Reddy Troupe

One of India's most accomplished Kuchipudi artists, the Reddys will be accompanied by live orchestra on their first ever visit to enthrall the Austin audiences. Kuchipudi, one of the popular dance forms, relies heavily on Mudras and Expressions with the artists producing a heavenly mix of Bhaava, Artha and Abhinaya, mastering the coordination between the mind, the eyes, the voice and the limbs. This form of Fine Art supposed to be the culmination of dance, music and literature, once practiced by temple dancers and courtesans of yester years is popularized in India and all over the world by the scholars and master-artists like Guru Sri Vempati Chinna Satyam.
