On this day Mother Lakshmi emerged from the ocean of milk called the Ksheer Sagar. She brought with Her wealth and prosperity for mankind.

On that day, Lakshmi Pooja was performed to honour Her and as such, every year on Diwali day, Hindus perform Her prayer and worship.

Priest Sriman Lakshminarasimha Acharyulu  performed the Pooja. The participation was around 150 familiesu

Aaarti: 12:30 PM * Lunch Prasad: 12:40 - 1:30 PM

 AHTCC Thanks its food volunteers for bringing in food for the occassion. Area Restaurants Taj Palace and Sarovar also sponsored food for the event.:
 

The program started on time with not all families showing up at the start time. But there was a steady flow of participants all the time and by the time Dr Rao was talking about "Sri Mahalakshmi" there were about  300-350 people.
