Austin Hindu Temple and Community Center (AHTCC) Committee is organizing Ganesh Chathurthi Pooja on Saturday, August 30th, 2003.  AHTCC would like you and your family to attend and actively participate in this traditional Pooja and receive Lord's blessings.

To complete a work or a ritual without any obstacles, it is customary to pray to Lord Vignesha (One who removes hurdles).  In this back to school season, let us all celebrate this festival together and start our endeavors with blessings from Lord Ganesha.

This is a great opportunity for you and your family, especially kids, to perform and participate in the Pooja.  The Pooja starts with the invocation of Lord Ganesha and concludes with His Visarjan/Nimajjanam (Immersion ceremony). 

Admission: Free

Pooja Sponsorship:

• Level 1  Sponsorship: $31 per family.  (AHTCC provides Pooja items and Ganesh idol)  

• Level 2  Sponsorship: $51 per family. (AHTCC provides Pooja Items, clay Ganesh idol, and a silver coin of Lord Ganesha)  

• Level 3 Sponsorship: $101 (AHTCC will announce the family/business name twice during the pooja.
• You don’t have to be a sponsor to attend the pooja. You are urged to attend with your family and friends even otherwise and receive Lords Blessings.

Please register (sponsor) by August 25, 2003 as the seats are limited. Early registration will help AHTCC to organize the Pooja successfully.

Directions: From north/south Mopac, Exit at FarWest Blvd and go west on Far West Blvd. Cross 2 Stop lights on Far West and turn left on Hart Lane (3rd  Stop Light). Then make a right on North Hills Dr. and the school is on the right side.
